It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Sonsthagen (Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving W. Sonsthagen and June K. Acker (Barber); his son Chad Sonsthagen; his sister Judith Libecki; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Henke and Patricia Sonsthagen.
He is survived by: his partner Jen Lukaszewski; his daughters, Jyll Daniels (Austin) and Jana Sonsthagen; his grandchildren, Jordan, Marie, Lauren, Gage, Lily, Olivia and Madden; his daughter Beth Sonsthagen; and his siblings, Barbara Henke, Diane Wolf, Billie Grant (Randy), June DeGennaro, Christine Burger (Joe), Irving Sonsthagen and Richard Sonsthagen (Barbara). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wisconsin Rapids Elks Lodge (430 W Jackson St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495).
