With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille Marie King of Woodruff, Wisconsin, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, George Breier and Catherine Breier; her husband Edward King, Sr.; her daughters, Mary Lou Shepski and Janis Slazyk; and her siblings, Catherine Kozicki (Walter) and Robert Breier (Margaret).

She is survived by : her son Edward King Jr. (Joan); her grandchildren, Joanne Morgan (Todd), Kenneth Shepski, Jr. (Stacey), Laura Hess (Matt), Robert Slazyk (Ryan), Ryan King (Melissa), Krysta Marunde (Lincoln), Matthew King (Hilary) and Kaylee Rios (Danny); and her sons-in-law, Kenneth Shepski, Sr. and Robert Slazyk.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (8950 Co Hwy J, Woodruff, WI 54568). A Mass was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.

Linda Martin wrote a sympathy message

“This is hard to understand my thoughts of this fine lady. Mine are she was there for my christening 76 years ago. Uncle Ed (her husband) was my godfather. At parties Aunt Lou was alway so festive. Between yodeling and joining in on the festivities. She is my last aunt on Kings side of family. Pete (Marge), Joseph (Eleanor), Jim(Joan),Jack(Margie),Alice( Phil), Catherine(Bert) and Ellen (Del) other aunt and uncles. Uncle Ed and Aunt Lou & my mom I only have. my cousins.”
