It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Houston Kincaid Jr. of Alderson, West Virginia, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Roy Houston is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Roy Houston's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Houston Kincaid, Sr. and Clara M. Kincaid (Honaker); his wife Joyce Kincaid (Light); and his sister Margaret Susan Kincaid. He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie Gertrude Robinson of Covington, VA and Margaret Susan Watson of Mount Airy, NC; and his grandsons, Seneca Allen Haynes of Blacksburg, VA and Van Houston Hall of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
