He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary "Brownie" Egnor Hager and Arlen Hager; and his siblings, Donald Hager and Patsy Hager. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Harless Hager; his daughters, Tracy Hager McKinney and Stacy Hager Kepple (Billy); his grandsons, Connor, Kieran McKinney, Tyler and Max Kepple; his sister Peggy Hager Clymo; his nephew Christopher Clay; his sister Priscilla R. Hager; and his siblings' children, Rachel Adkins, Eugene "Moose" Van Gundy and Mary Pauley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (2097 Childress Rd, Alum Creek, WV 25003). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
He was a child of God, embodying faith, hope and charity.
