She was predeceased by: her mother Marigold Linville Atkins. She is survived by: her father Don Atkins; her former husband Joe Whitten; her husband James "Bob" Elkins; her son Bruce Alan Whitten; her brothers, Billy Atkins (Carolyn) of Morgantown and Ted Atkins (Margie) of Alum Creek; and her pet Percy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's United Methodist Church (2601 Forrestal Ave, St Albans, WV 25177). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Peter's United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
