He was predeceased by : his parents, Job Comer and Nellie Dunlap Comer; his son-in-law Mark Clark; and his sister-in-law Connie Comer. He is survived by : his wife Nancy; his son Richard "Rick" Comer II; his grandchildren, Sierra Kennedy (Jake) and Richard "Cruz" Comer III; his daughter Beth Comer Clark; his grandchildren, Savannah Clark and Mark "Chase" Clark II; and his brothers, Doyle Comer (Jean Ann) of Ocala, FL and Romie Comer of Lewisburg, WV. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
