She was predeceased by: her parent William August; and her sister Mary Garrett. She is survived by: her parent Phyllis Deison Schmitz; her husband James William Van Horn; her children, James Michael Van Horn (Beth) of Gillette, WY, Jennifer Marie Gray (Tim) of Lost Creek and Jessica Mae Roane (Darrell) of Flatwoods, KY; her grandchildren, T. J., Kirstin, Lincoln, Landon, Kaydance and Zander; and her sister Christine Stanton of Anmoore. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
