He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Elkins and Zelda "Kitty" Jones Elkins; his brother Lundy Elkins; his siblings-in-law, Stephen Bradley and Donna Elkins; and his nephew David Elkins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amanda Elkins, Melinda Elkins and Amy Elkins Reed; his grandchildren, Adian Meadows, Abigail Reed and Liam Goff; his brothers, Larry Elkins, David Price Sr. (Dianne), Kenneth Price (Ann) and Jeffrey Elkins (Delores); and his close friends, Peggy Elkins, Charlie and Amber Nelson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Oak Grove Methodist Church, Ballengee, WV.
