With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Austin McCallister Jr. (Beckley, West Virginia), who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Austin Sr. and Macil Fern Mann; his sisters, Drema McCallister and Martha Burleson; and his stepsons, Randall Lewis Bailey and Richard Keith Bailey.
He is survived by: his daughter Sonya McCallister Peters (James Peters) of Beckley, WV.; his stepson Kent Bailey (Sheila Bailey) of Beckley, WV.; his siblings, Mary Lou Haley, Carol Smith, Sandy Gilkerson and Donald McCallister; and his caregiver Laquenta Lowe.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:30 PM.
