He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Charles Herald and Norma Herald; his brother Charles "Tom" Herald of Belle, WV.; his wife Colleen Herald; his children, Shea Herald of Charleston, SC and Riley Herald of Morgantown, WV; and his sister Karen Richardson (Noel Richardson) of South Charleston, WV. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
