It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Joan Albanese of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, born in Nyack, New York, who passed away on October 16, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sylvester A. DeLisio and Virginia Joan Dougherty DeLisio; her grandson Paul Keddington; and her sister Marilyn Frate. She is survived by : her husband William "Bill" Albanese, Jr.; her children, Lisa Joan Ambrose (Tom) of Berkeley Springs, Tracy Albanese Younker (Darrin) of Berkeley Springs, Sheldon Lee Albanese (Chastine Jay) of Berkeley Springs and Karen Lynn Barton of Roanoke, VA; her brother Eugene DeLisio of Stratford, WI; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Younker of Berkeley Springs, Sarah Michael of Berkeley Springs, Trevor Albanese of Berkeley Springs, Riley Albanese of Berkeley Springs, Isabela Albanese of Berkeley Springs, Meghan Ambrose of Washington, DC, Amber Markham of Roanoke, Taylor McCullough of Roanoke, Alexis Albanese of Martinsburg and McKenzie Ambrose of Morgantown, WV; and her great grandchildren, Mikendal Markham of Roanoke and Ayden Markham of Roanoke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
