He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Patterson and Inez Patterson (Webster); and his siblings, Rufus and Patricia Patterson. He is survived by: his brothers, Clifford S., Marvin L., Preston R. and Charles N. Patterson; his uncle Edward Webster of North Wilkesboro, NC; and his aunts, Doris Puryear (Joseph) of Long Island, NY, Julie Webster of North Wilkesboro and Ernestine Patterson of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by cousins, neighbors and friends.
