He is survived by : his wife Nancy Copolo Godfrey; his children, James Vincent Godfrey (Janie) of Bluefield, WV, Patricia Zande (Larry Sr.) of Bluefield, WV and Theresa Thomason (Willie) of Bluefield, WV; his sisters, Imogene Repass of Tampa, FL and Arlee Moore of Toccoa, GA; his grandchildren, Larry, Laura, Kara Zande, James Godfrey (Missy), Eddie Godfrey, Sr. and Jason (Blaine Thomason); his great grandchildren, Analeigh Zande, James Godfrey III, Jolena Hill, Eddie Jr., Cameron, Coleson Godfrey, Spencer and Clay Thomason; and his great great grandchildren, Alaina and Eliona Godfrey.
