She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pennington and Madeline Pennington (Triplett); her husband Homer Parsons; her sister Gloria Gunnells; and her brother-in-law John Doczi.

She is survived by: her sons, Tim Parsons (Erica) of Louisa, KY, Steven Parsons (Amy) of Louisa, KY, Bart Parsons (Sharon) of Union, KY and Bernie Parsons (Dawn) of Statesville, NC; her grandchildren, Nathan, Brandon, Shea, Samuel, Ethan, Whitney, Jared and Aaron; her great grandchildren, Lily, Ruby, Elin, Vivi, Ava and Gwyneth; and her siblings, Elanor Doczi of Manassas, VA, Bernard Pennington (Maureen) of New Milton, WV and Troy G. Pennington (Eileen) of Lexington, NC..

Due to health concerns for family members and others because of Covid, Linda's services will be private.
