It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Helen Mumaw of Brandywine, West Virginia, born in Edinburg, Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Rodney Polk and Aggie Barrick Polk; her husband Richard McCord Hepner, Sr.; her former life partner Sylvenus Mumaw; and her sisters, Retha "Fern" Ryman of Maurertown, VA and Patsy Himelright of Strausburg, VA.

She is survived by : her children, Richard "Buck" Hepner, Jr. (Mona) of Broadway and Shelia Davis (Jerry) of Brandywine, WV; and her stepson David Mumaw of Edinburg.
