Flora Woodburn Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Flora Woodburn of Bridgeport, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Flora Woodburn to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edward and Anna Marie Patterson (Wilson); her husband Clarence Otto Woodburn; and her siblings, Edna Ash, Helen Hughes, Geneva Freeland, Ruth McCune, Violet Martin, Clara Baker, Bryson Patterson, Rex Patterson and Brady Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Zseltvay (Ken) of Mt. Carmel, TN and Patrick Woodburn (Dawn) of Clarksburg; her grandchildren, Aaron Zseltvay (Monica) of Greensboro, NC, Katie Wright (James), Noelle Woodburn and Ivy Woodburn of Clarksburg; her great grandchildren, Colin and Garrett Wright; and her brother Roger Patterson of Little Sancho, WV. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews complete her family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Furbee Funeral Home (217 Main St, Middlebourne, WV 26149).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to United Health Foundation (givetouhc.org) and select the Cancer Program Fund.
