With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Golda Whitehair (Bridgeport, West Virginia), born in Coxs Mills, West Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Simon Lewis Walton and Vera Elizabeth Jones Walton; her husband Deward Whitehair, Jr; her sons, Donald Richard Whitehair of Titusville, FL and John Mark Whitehair (Marlene) of Morgantown; her grandchild Ricky Whitehair (Gina) of Colorado Springs, CO; her great grandchild Nova Whitehair; her grandsons, Luke Whitehair (Patricia) of Glenville, WV, John David Whitehair (Kristen) of Morgantown and David Allen Lloyd of Las Vegas, NV; and her siblings, Jean Bailey, Arlena King, Clifford Walton, Glen Walton and Faye Hitt. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WVU Medicine Hospice, 327 Medical Park Drive, Bridgeport, WV 26330 Family and friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2-8 pm.
