Betty Jean Galloway Obituary
We bid farewell to Betty Jean Galloway (Bruceton Mills, West Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 28, 2025 at the age of 90. Betty Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Betty Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Demetrious Metz Detrick and Sadie Catherine Sines Detrick; and her former husbands, Harry Burt Bryner and Earnest Lee Galloway. She is survived by: her children, Pat Rice (Chris), Sandy Hileman (Wayne), Tom Bryner (Barb), Dave Bryner (Betty), LeAnne Bishoff (Vaughn) and Earnie Galloway; and her sisters, Sherry Ross and Maude Rounds. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Church of the Brethren (367 Co Rte 26/12, Bruceton Mills, WV 26525).
