Angel Kennedy Obituary
Angel Rovella, Kennedy, age 40 a former resident of Buckhannon, WV and more recently a patient and the Pierpont Care Center of Fairmont passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in the Center she had been declining health however her death was unexpected. She was born on December 17, 1984, in Canton, OH, a daughter to Mag "Dalton" Kennedy, Philippi, WV, and the late Ernest Randall Kennedy. Angel leaves behind one brother; Rocky "Delane" Dalton of Philippi; nephews Bryden and Nathaniel Dalton of Philippi; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friend and father figure; Charles "Cup" Croston of Philippi, WV.
Angel was a Christian by faith. She attended the schools of Barbour County and Harrison County, graduating from Robert C. Byrd High School. Though Angel faced significant challenges in her life, she embodied strength and resilience that inspired those around her.
She was loved by her mother Mag, who remains heart broken by the loss of her beloved daughter. Angel loved to throw balls, and taking the basketball away from her nephews on many occasions. She loved to play with her remote-controlled car, and she also liked to look at books and enjoyed coloring.
A compassionate spirit, Angel had a gift of bringing joy to others' lives, illuminating her days with warmth and kindness. Her infectious laughter and gentle nature will be cherished in the hearts of all who knew her. Family and friends may gather at the Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 8:00 AM until 12:00 PM the funeral hour.
Evangelist Ezik S. Norris will be the presider, and Angel will be laid to rest at the Welch Cemetery near Moatsville, WV. The Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements.
