Georgiana Prickett Obituary
In loving memory of Georgiana Prickett of Buckhannon, West Virginia, who departed this world on May 25, 2025 at the age of 81. Georgiana leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Chester Bissett and Mary Ann Bissett; and her husband Edward Lawrence Prickett. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Duane Prickett (Jeanie) of Barrackville and Tami Lynn Prickett (Brad Thorton) of Deland, Florida; her grandchildren, Breanna Prickett (Dan Strauser) of Clarksburg and Brandon Prickett of Martinsburg; her sisters, Nancy Hite, Mary Lou Fox and Alice Poling (Dave Poling); and her siblings-in-law, Don Prickett (Linda) of Barrackville, Tim Lucente of Barrackville and Jean Janicki of Huntington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many good friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (3171 Husky Hwy, Farmington, WV 26571). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monumental U.M.C., Tennerton U.M.C., and the Upsher Parish House.
