He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Franklin Dean and Mildred Virginia Reese Dean; and his siblings, Louise Dean Martin, Ruth Dean Pringle and Benjamin Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Reed Dean; his children, David Dean (Clare), Daphne Dean Johnston (Doug) and Dwayne Dean (Emily); his sisters, Billie Dean Clifton, Twyla Dean Harley and Sheila Dean Perry; his grandchildren, Dillon Johnston, Devon Johnston, Alexander Dean (Michelle), Clare Kelly Dussol and Lily Dean; and his great grandchild Abigail Dussol. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
