He was predeceased by : his parent Samuel E. Errett II; his wife Loretta M. Null Errett; his children, William Martin Errett II and Jennifer Rebecca Errett; his siblings, Sharon Lee Errett and John "Jay" Errett; and his sister-in-law Lois Errett.

He is survived by : his parent Ruth Martin Errett; and his siblings, Kay Errett of Leon and Sam Errett of Huntington. He is also survived by several nephews and extended family.
