It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Leone Crutchfield of Burnsville, West Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aldo Ray Gum and Lottie Halterman Gum; her husband Ray Crutchfield, Jr.; her siblings, Charles, Aldo Jr., Joe, Helen Curtis and Elsie Raybuck of Camden; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn and Jean Gum.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Crutchfield of Burnsville and David Crutchfield (Jane) of Belchertown, MA; her grandchildren, Zack Crutchfield, Abbe Malone, Alex Crutchfield and Katie Horan; her great grandchildren, Gabe, Mac, Colton, Zoey, Hunter, Brady and Emma; her sister Carol Marrison; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Jones of Akron, OH, Alice Gates and Robert Curtis. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
