She was predeceased by : her parents, Harrison James and Gladys Rebecca Kerns Briggs; her sister Pauline Dobbs (Dale); and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann and Doris.

She is survived by : her great grandchild Roxy; her husband Gary David Allen; her son Jeffrey Allen (Cher) of Cameron; her grandchildren, Tyonna Jones (Ryan) and Anthony Allen (Kelsea); her great grandchildren, Ava Jones, Axel and Baby Allen; her siblings, Margaret Robinson (Don) of Louisiana, Mary Barger of Cameron, Sarah Minton (Scotty) of Cameron, Jack Briggs (Sue) of Cameron, James Briggs of Cameron and Roger Briggs of Cameron; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Allen (Nancy) of Glen Dale, W. V. and Linda (Dave Scollick) of Moundsville, W. V.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and friends.
