She was predeceased by: her parents, Caudy D. Wolford and Violet Anderson Wolford; and her sisters, Alma Updike, Peggy Sue LaFollette and Willetta Meade.
She is survived by: her children, Dottie Lou Fultz of Capon Bridge, WV, Ronald Whitacre of Capon Bridge, WV and Donald L. Whitacre (Connie) of Capon Bridge, WV; her siblings, JoAnn Copeland of Stephens City, VA, Nancy Riley (Harry) of Capon Bridge, WV and Kenneth Wolford (Barbara) of Winchester, VA; her grandchildren, Kim (Sammy), Stacey (Rob), Angie (Kenny) and Jason (Jill); and her great grandchildren, Eric, Charles, Maddie, Mackenzie, Drake, Drew and Brantley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Giffin Funeral Home & Crematory (2807 Northwestern Turnpike, Capon Bridge, WV 26711). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
