He was predeceased by: his parents, Reeve Lloyd and Pheobie Miller Hudson; and his brothers, Cordus Hudson (Laura), Charles Hudson (Thelma) and Reeve Hudson Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Vivian Lambert Hudson; his daughters, Rebecca Hudson, Amanda Hudson and Melissa Hudson (Travis); his siblings, Margie Holbrook (Charlie), Joy Campbell (Junior), Mary Stevens (Randell), Connie Armstrong (Larry), Burley Hudson (Betty), Jimmy Hudson (Hattie) and Larry Hudson (Cora); his grandchildren, Cheyenne Craddock (Larry Butcher), Colton, Keegan Craddock, Isaac, Chase Butcher, Kennady, Tyson, Loudon Hudson, Mia, Willow and Waylon Adkins; and his great grandchild Joseph Colt Butcher.
