George Melton Hough Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Melton Hough of Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on March 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hough and Susan Popkins Hough; and his siblings, Virginia Mercer and William "Sonny" Hough. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Clevenger Hough; his children, Kathy Dopson (Mike) of Harpers Ferry, Steve Hough (Tracy) of Summit Point, WV and Scott Hough (Susan) of Boyce, VA; his sisters, Electa "Sally" Lilla and Frances Longerbeam; and his siblings-in-law, Frances (Jadie), Becky (George), Cindy (Al) and Ray (Lois). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
