With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Douglas Huyett of Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on May 27, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, L. Randolph Huyett and Sylvia Huyett; and his brother Randy Huyett. He is survived by : his wife Barbara; his stepson Christopher Robinson; his uncle Jack Huyett; his friend Diane Herring; his sister Pat Huyett; his stepdaughter Aimee Canby; his sister-in-law Linda Huyett; his nephew Randy Huyett; and his niece Alicia Chimentto.

Those wishing to honor Jim could donate to the Animal Welfare Society of Jefferson County, Hospice of the Panhandle or any charity of choice.
