She was predeceased by : her parents, Eugene Franklin Cook, Sr. and Bessie Carter Cook of Virginia; her son Dwayne Wallace Cook; and her siblings, Eugene F. Cook, Jr., Charles Cook, Sr., Thomas Brown, Helen Robinson, Darlene Foflygen and Sandra Robinson.

She is survived by : her son Clarence Cook (Angela); her siblings, Roger, Nathan, Clyde Cook, Wendell, Eric Carr, Debra, Blanche Cook and Beth Brown; and her aunts, Eleanor Gooch (Glenn) and Sylvia Harmon. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
