She was predeceased by : her father David M. Palmer. She is survived by : her mother Ruth A. Palmer; her children, Tierra, Fuego, Buenos Aires and Niagara; her husband Ricardo; her children, Emma, Daniel and Mom Ruth; and her sisters, Beth A. Isaacs (John) and Amy S. Murray (Dean). She is also survived by six nieces and seven nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor to the Fisher House Foundation, Doctors without Borders, or Asbury United Methodist Church, Charles Town will be appreciated.
