It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Julius Theiss in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Julius Theiss and Eva Hamm Theiss of Racine, Ohio.; his grandparents, Julius, Katie Theiss, Jon Hamm and Blanch Holter-Hamm; and his grandchildren, Sheranda Hall, Shannon Newbanks and Barry Theiss.

He is survived by : his significant other Sherry Hellyer; his children, Karla Theiss-Newbanks, Kandy Theiss-Wilson (Bill Padden), Keith Theiss (Patti Theiss), Kelly Theiss (Jean Ganalis) and Kerri Theiss-Bell; his stepchildren, Jerry Braniff (Kimiko Braniff), Cindy Lea Rutan of Ravenswood, WV, Lisa Sue Hendrickson of Ripley, WV and J. R. (Phil Walker); his granddaughters, Amanda Holman and Savana Casto; and his pets, Chloe and Cinderella. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren.
