We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 70, Johnie Franklin Winnell Jr. of Charleston, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Winnell and Phyllis Hager Winnell; his wife Diana Hughart Winnell; and his children, Stephanie Hammack and Johnie Franklin Winnell III.

He is survived by: his siblings, Christopher Mark Winnell, Letha Proctor, Joan Batten and Thayer "Luke" Winnellk. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, and 6 great-grandchildren.
