He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Aaron Parsons Sr. and Delores Jean Parsons; and his sister Paula Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Karen Louise Parsons of Charleston; his sons, Richard (Kimberly Parsons Jr.), Matt (Cyrena Parsons), Nathan (Megan Parsons) and Anthony (Heather Parsons); his siblings, Guy (Connie Parsons Jr.), Daniel (Ann Parsons), Ben Parsons of Nitro, Joe (Vickie Parsons), John Parsons of St. Albans, Drew (Tonya Parsons) and Kathy Parsons of Florida; and his grandchildren, Garth, Kadie, Jaxson, Maddox, Rena Kay and Peyton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hafer Funeral Home (50 N Pinch Rd, Elkview, WV 25071). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
