He was predeceased by: his parents, Buster B. Spencer and Clarice Furr Spencer; his siblings, Robert M. Spencer and Marilyn Ann Freeland; his siblings-in-law, Jack Freeland, Sharon Weekley and Judy Hunt; his siblings' children, Shon Spencer and Crystal Tenda; and his great-niece Mattie Tenda.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Hunt Spencer; his daughter Terry Spencer of Clarksburg; his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Spencer, Ronald Hunt and Norman "Lee" Weekley; and his sibling's children, Mark Spencer, Jackie Patterson, Cindy Freeland and Kim Bizjak.
