It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn J McClain Daugherty of Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" McClain and Joyce Boone McClain of Ida May, WV.; her daughters, Angela Kay and Andrea Renee; and her brother Barry McClain.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Daugherty; her daughters, Joyce Rittenhouse (Tracel) of Clarksburg and Diana Daugherty of Good Hope; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Freeman (Tyler) of Clarksburg; her great grandchild Dwayne Steven Freeman; her grandson Randall Rittenhouse II; her close friends, Danny, Emma Jo Malcomb, Paul and Susan Rohde; her sister-in-law Brenda McClain; and her son Matt McDonald (Robin, family: Shannon Jolly). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Collectively, these individuals provided outstanding care and support to our family and we encourage you to donate to one of these entities in Carolyn's name.
