With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Guy Carey Jr. of Clarksburg, West Virginia, born in Reynoldsville, West Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Guy Carey, Sr. and Eleanor Walters Carey; and his siblings, Ronnie Carey and Patty Burr. He is survived by: his wife Karren Wells Carey; his children, Charles "Chip" Guy Carey, III (Lori) of Clarksburg and Sharron Swoger (Rodney) of Wheeling; his granddaughters, Sarah Bonar (Robbie), Emily Rodgers (Joshua) and Marissa Holbert (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Brady, Halle Holbert, Marshall, Carter Bonar, Smith, Jackie and Lucy Rodgers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
