He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry E. Rainbolt, Jr. and Harlene Ruth Rainbolt (Laws); his wife Elma Jean "Jeanne" Rainbolt (Lowther); and his brother Robert Harlan Rainbolt. He is survived by : his sisters, Katherine (Pastor Michael Harris) of Texas and Mary (Francisco Caraballo) of Texas; and also, Karen, Eugene Waugh of Ohio, Joy, Buddy Bell, George Lowther of Bridgeport and Michael Lowther of Clarksburg. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 3 nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burnside Funeral Home (607 S Virginia Ave, Bridgeport, WV 26330). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
