She was predeceased by : her parents, Clark Hustead and Mildred Longwell; her stepfather Pete Murphy; her husband James T. Hawkins; and her sisters, Wilma June Hustead, Leoda Mae Devericks and Helen Ruth Glover.

She is survived by : her son Alan W. Hawkins of Clarksburg; and her friends, Kitty Wilson, Dave Wilson and Gertie Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
