He is survived by: his son Herbert Lawson (Nancy McCormick Lawson) of Clarksburg; his wife Leah Garrett Lawson; his children, Lou Ann Grant (Travis) of Clarksburg, Ryan Lawson of Clarksburg and Justin Lawson of Clarksburg; and his grandchildren, Casey Messenger, Christian Jenkins, Caleb Jenkins, Camden Jenkins, Canaan Talarico and Connor Grant.
