He is survived by: his fathers, Edward Kirby of Shinnston and James Holmes of Florida; his wife Laura Holmes (Thompson); his brothers, Timothy "Tim" Holmes (Michelle) of Shinnston, Thomas "Tommy" Kirby (Jennifer) of Shinnston and Matthew "Matt" Kirby of Westover; his mother-in-law Sandi Thompson of Weston; his nephew Dawson Kirby; his niece Aubrie Holmes; his cousins, Michelle and Meredith Holmes; and his aunts, Sarah Waters, Penny Watson and Sheila Crislip.
