It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John C. Thompson Jr. of Clarksburg, West Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John C. Thompson and Mary I. Noble Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Ross Thompson, Lucy Thompson Cox, Hannah Caplan David, Spencer Caplan, Abby Caplan Reynolds, Timothy Sparta and Laurie Sparta Flores; his close friend Sherry Norris of Clarksburg, WV; and his siblings, Mary Beth Sparta (Larry) of Berlin, Sherry Ann Caplan (Bob) of Bridgeport, WV and Timothy Paul Thompson (Lisa) of Clarksburg, WV.. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
