She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Coleman Holmes and Rachel Smith Holmes; and her siblings, Robert Franklin Holmes (Margaret), Dorothy Mae Holmes Gunther, William Everett Holmes (Anne), Basil Lee Holmes (Sue), Rush Delbert Holmes and JoAnn Holmes Cochran (Chester). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
