He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Clarence Hefner, Sr. and Alice Dale Moore Hefner; and his siblings, Charles "Rasty" Edward Hefner, Donald "Donnie" Hefner and Carla Jan Hefner.

He is survived by: his daughters, Emily and Andrea. He is also survived by husbands and nine grandchildren.
