She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Guy and Belle Collins (Welch); her son Sheldon Robert Lawson; and her siblings, Bueford Collins, Stanley Collins, Eugene Collins, Raymond Collins, Dorothy Upton and Evangeline Watson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Hughie Lawson; her children, Regina Ketterman (Greg) of Galloway and Steven "Steve" Lawson (Cindy); and her brother Ronald Collins (Judy) of Galloway. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
