He is survived by : his daughter Jama (Frank Whittaker) of South Charleston; his grandchildren, Amanda Mattix (Robert) of South Charleston and Cole Whittaker (Shannon) of Cross Lanes; his great grandchildren, Gabe and Lucy Mattix; his sister Patty Hayes of Proctorville, OH; and his former life partner Jo Elaine Bauman of South Charleston.
