He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter William Setliff Sr. and Mary Susan Feazell Setliff; his wife Wanzie Setliff; and his siblings, Eddie, Norman, Noel, Mike, Keith, Jerry, Paul Setliff, Reta East and Brenda Gail Setliff.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Wheeler (Shawn) of Cool Ridge and Richard Setliff of Beckley; his grandchildren, Zachary Setliff (Faith), Presley Bailey, Ashley Wheeler (Ryan Jenkins) and Lindsey Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Dontae and Kayden; and his siblings, Rev. Orville Setliff (Rachel) of Cool Ridge, David Setliff of Cool Ridge, Mary Cook of Shady Spring, Carol O'Donnell of Cool Ridge, Dorcas Baldwin of Cool Ridge, Rebecca Matics (Sam) of Shady Spring and Claire Cavallier of Parma, OH.. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel (729 Flat Top Rd, Shady Spring, WV 25918). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cool Ridge Freewill Baptist Church (1195 Flat Top Rd, Shady Spring, WV 25918).
