He was predeceased by: his parents, John Irving and Annie Ruth Christie Scott; his wife Janet Mae Worley Scott; his son Charles Christie Scott, Jr.; and his siblings, John I Scott Jr. (Jack), George Warren Scott and Margaret Ann Scott.
He is survived by: his children, Stella Mae Moon (Gary), Ruth Ann Scott and Irving E. Scott; and his brother Robert Milton Scott (Sandy). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
