As we bid Rodney Lewis farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Rodney Lewis is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nadine Walker Gwinn and Harlan Gwinn. He is survived by : his wife Diann Gwinn; his daughters, Wendy Gwinn Boggess (Jay) and Mandy Gwinn McGuire; his granddaughters, Allison Glass (Steve) and Kelsie Dorton; his great grandchild Reagan Kropff; and his friend Bruce Harvey.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Rose and Quesenberry Peace Chapel (1901 S Kanawha St, Beckley, WV 25801). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers we ask you to donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital in honor of his grandson Jacob Bennett.
