She was predeceased by: her parents, James Taylor Hunt and Goldie Marie Woods Hunt; her husband Charles Ray Gilliam; her brother Douglas Taylor Hunt (Carol) of Painesville, OH; and her brother-in-law Fredrick Joe Griffith of Elizabeth City.
She is survived by: her sisters, Dorothy Ann Greene (Glen) of Madison, Belinda Kay Smith (Rodney) of Madison and Melody Rae Griffith of Elizabeth City, NC.; her niece Cathy Lilly; her great-nephew Hunter of Madison; and her siblings' children, Karen West of Queen Creek, AZ, Kerri Geyer, Nicole Renee Smith (Shannon) of Charleston, Millie Marie Griffith of Elizabeth City, NC. and Nicholas Lee Smith (Taylor) of Madison.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Handley Funeral Home- Danville (439 Phipps Ave, Danville, WV 25053). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Boone Memorial Park.
