She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Dempsey and Mary Dempsey; her husband John Buckner, Jr.; her sons-in-law, Gene Gomez and O. W. Jarrell (Dickie); and her great grandchild Joshua Buckner.

She is survived by : her children, Beva Caines, Johnny, Kay Buckner, Ora Mae and Roger Miller; her grandchildren, Melissa Kirk, Jenny Eric, Chris Caines, Jay Jay Buckner, Angie Sizemore, Jamie Buckner, Randy, Roger Miller, Natalie Poe, Samantha Hartshorn, Kaela Vickers, Eddie, Michael, David Jarrell, Beth Scalf, Christina Roberts, Gina Gonzales, Teresa, Brandy Gomez, Mandi Epling, Whitney Sanchez, Sara Maynard, Morgan Kirby, Lexi Buckner, Cameron Asbury, Jessica Harrah, Clarissa and Joseph Buckner; and her close friend David Green.
